With an extensive 30 year background in marketing communications, Greg is currently the Vice President of Marketing at Petco, where he oversees all Strategic Marketing & Brand Experience initiatives at the $3 billion+ national pet retailer. His responsibilities encompass multiple digital media, advertising, field marketing, strategic partnerships, consumer engagement touch points, all integrated across a host of brand communication channels including public relations and social media. Prior to joining Petco, he has held marketing leadership roles at Hilton Hotels Corporation and Gateway Computers, Inc.
An Ohio native, Greg’s also an art enthusiast, who founded ArtWalk San Diego, a yearly urban arts festival raising awareness and $1 million+ annually for artists in the Tijuana/San Diego basin. He’s also served on a variety of boards including the Parks & Recreation for the City of San Diego, Gateway Foundation, Naval Training Center Foundation and the Council on Literacy.
