A longtime professional writer, Paris and her husband, John Bigley, have authored nearly 30 books and over 2,500 magazine articles. Paris' latest book is Barkonomics: Tips for Frugal Fidos. As America's Pet Economist™, Paris speaks to pet expos on the topic of saving money on pet care while, at the same time, providing pets with a healthy and happy lifestyle. She has served as an expert source for articles in Woman's Day, The Huffington Post, Smart Money, Consumer Reports, and other publications.

Along with publishing CatTipper and DogTipper, Paris continues to freelance. Paris and John write a weekly column on animal welfare and adoption for pet360.com and the “Bowser on a Budget” column for FIDO Friendly. Paris and John have four rescue cats--Linus, Felix, Coco, and Inca--and two mixed breed rescue dogs--Tiki and Irie. Paris is also a certified dog trainer.
