Rachel Phelps is the Owner/Creator of the blog PrestonSpeaks.com. This is a pet blog from a West Highland Terrier’s (Preston Peabody’s) point of view. Rachel has an extensive background in website design and content management. She oversees the social media endeavors and website content and design for several non-profits including her local humane society. She is also the Creative Director and Social Media Manager of a newly formed company, Preston Media Group.

Rachel is also involved in the animal welfare community. She is on the board of directors for the Owensboro Humane Society, is the Kentucky state rep for Westie Rescue Southeast, helps with transport for Westie Rescue Indiana, and is on the planning committee for Indiana Westie Walk.   Rachel and her husband Brad have five “fur kids” –Preston and Elvis (a westie as well) and three cats Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb, and Ashes. She holds an undergraduate degree in computer science, a masters in public administration and a MBA from Western Kentucky University and resides in Owensboro, Kentucky.
